The concept for this site came about in 2013 when it was discovered that there seemed to be a lack of sites around where the articles are written by an Aussie Male, from a Mere Male’s perspective for the information, entertainment and reading pleasure for both the sexes.
Now the site is not meant to be taken too seriously because it’s written from a light-hearted Aussie male point of view with a little bit of sarcasm and humour thrown in where required or simply called for. An opinion piece if you like!
General Blog posts are going to be listed under the Men-Inc Blog Section and all the Uber Blog posts, that are written as a result of my first hand experiences being a Uber Driver Partner have, obviously, been posted under the Uber Blog Section.
My aim is for Blog posts to the Men-Inc Section to be updated weekly if not at least fortnightly. Updates to the Uber Section will be weekly as I drive each weekend and there are plenty of experiences to write about each week believe me! For the passengers, or riders as Uber calls them, privacy will be maintained so accordingly their real names, together with any other identifying factors, will be changed within each post to protect these rights.
Jokes are simply as the title says – they are contributions from both men and women and all are published in PDF format, so you need to ensure you have a PDF reader installed. Eventually it is planned that you will be able to submit content for this category – so please stay tuned for when that aspect is released.
As part of our social responsibility, and mindful of the current social environment, it has been decided that any Blog article or post that is deemed a little risqué will be published in the Members Only Section where you will have to be registered as a member before you get access to those pages. Its all Free to register and only takes a couple of minutes to setup.
Now for a little bit more background information on the author of this web site.
I have extensive experience in the IT industry working in many, and varied, types of companies and long been an up taker of technology when new to the market. Also being a car enthusiast I tried to find a way to drive my late model car whilst meeting new people that I don’t always get the opportunity to do so in my day to day job.
Hence becoming a Uber Partner Driver suited both these requirements along with the fact I can earn a few extra dollars doing so on a casual basis as well. The perfect second job……
