I write this in fear of creating a potential verbal war between two types of people that frequent our public roads – the cyclists and the drivers of cars/vans/trucks.
I agree with the notion that public roads are there for the use by all residents and visitors however it has to be done in a safe and respectful way. The various levels of governments and councils have made some inroads on the issue as they continue to build dedicated bikeways, pathways and zones on some roads.
